Proposal for Providing Managed IT Services for Astonfield Renewables Resources Ltd.

1.   EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

MSR IT Solution Pvt. Ltd. (MSR) is a UK and India based IT Services Company providing a complete range of services for software, hardware and network related requirements of its global Clients. MSR is an ISO 9001:2008 Company with ITIL compliant systems.

Astonfield Renewable Resources Limited (Astonfield) is implementing projects in the Indian Subcontinent, Middle East and Africa. Astonfield has offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and New York . Astonfield has plans of office expansion in Africa and other regions based on business requirements. In discussions held between Astonfield executives and MSR management team, Astonfield’s requirements have been captured and prioritized in this proposal document.

Astonfield requires a totally managed IT environment through which all the offices in different geographical locations will be supported for Astonfields’ growing infrastructure and application requirements.

MSR is proposing an incremental approach towards providing a fully managed service to Astonfield’s IT requirements divided into three stages based on the primary business considerations of:

·         Security

·         High availability

·         24x7 support

·         Mobility for and collaboration within the Astonfield team

This proposal provides a detailed approach towards servicing all the requirements categorized below (high priority requirements):

·         File sharing system for Astonfield members and external entities

·         Email support

·         Support for hardware, software

·         Back-up systems

·         Architecture set-up for mobility, file sharing, remote monitoring and 24x7 support and

MSR has designed and planned the Infrastructure architecture required by Astonfield for scaling up based on the business requirements listed here below.

Services will range from planning through till implementation for all of Astonfield’s IT requirements. This has the implicit understanding of an approval and sign-off process to be followed with Astonfield for all segments of work.

MSR shall be responsible for –

1. Drawing up the detailed functionalities for the file sharing system, design, implementation and support for the same.
2. Planning, Designing and Implementation of the infrastructure as per the solution proposed below and the SLAs detailed.
3. Procurement of hardware, software licensing and all related support services
4. Defining IT policy specific for Astonfield based on the ISO standard
5. Periodic Audits (6 months is recommended as an interval) by system consultants from MSR to ensure that the defined IT policy is followed and create reports for the same.
6. Providing resident system administrator for L1 support at each of three Indian office locations.
7. MSR’s FLHD or the resident system administrator will act as a liaison between other service providers/vendors including telecommunication/fax/printers and any other services falling under IT infrastructure depending upon the time of the day.

9. End-to-end IT services management (L2, L3 support from MSR NOC)
