What is the Banking on Small BusinessTM Education Series?
It is a monthly outreach program aimed at small, home-based, women-owned, veteran-owned and minority businesses. It is education-specific to and for businesses operating from the state of Florida to national and international clients and those who operate within their own local markets in the state of Florida.
The Banking on Small Business TMEducation Series will increase the level of participation of the sponsor with home-based entrepreneurs, small, minority and women business owners. This program will enable sponsor participant(s) to reach out to the small business community and help to influence them by creating a vehicle for positive business development.
For home-based entrepreneurs, small, minority and women business owners, it will provide a forum for educational and business development. The seminar series will allow participants an opportunity to become aware of successful methods and best practices for starting, operating, promoting, buying and selling small businesses. It will also provide a forum in which they can nurture one-on-one relationships with the ''experts'', business leaders and educators, and ask questions to gain valuable insight into what they can do to enhance the status of their current businesses.
It will give participants a chance to expand their horizons by meeting with sponsor(s) representatives, other small business owners and entrepreneurs within their own markets to establish business-to-business networking relationships. It will also give this audience to increase their knowledge of and establish relationships with representatives of corporations that provide goods and services.
